MGO grading highlights the level of Methygloxal in our Multifloral Mānuka,  and this is independently tested and certified. This honey has also been tested under the NZ Government Export standards to be Multifloral Mānuka

Unpasteurised and minimally processed to ensure the honey delivered to you is just as nature intended. Raw and untouched.
 
HOME TO HIVE TRACEABILITY:
Follow the trace code on the label to see that each jar of Steens Mānuka honey is a genuine New Zealand (NZ) product. Every jar is authentic, and has been sourced fresh by our beekeepers, and packed in non BPA jars at our facility in NZ.
 
BEE BREAD:
A naturally occurring mix of bee pollen in our honey. Our unique filtering keeps this nutritious product in our honey.
 
PERFECT OCCASIONS:
To add as a sweetener for ginger and lemon tea, to take it with apple cider vinegar, to blend into porridge, to use in homemade face wash to exfoliate the skin.

RAW & UNPASTEURIZED

The true meaning of raw honey, is the lack of heat and fine filters being used in the process of removing the honey from the comb. Our patented method of extracting the honey from the comb,means we don't need to heat the honey or use fine filters. This provides a deliciously rich, textural honey, full of naturally occurring bio-available bee bread, pollen and wax particles and allows melt-in-your-mouth honey crystals to form.

ETHICAL BEEKEEPING

We work closely with our land partners to ensure relationships are fair and ethical. All our hives are regularly checked to ensure the health of the hive and the bees, and our bee swarms flourish year after year. In winter months, when the bees are hibernating, we ensure they are well fed, and can get the rest they need at the end of their peak season of gathering pollen and nectar from the New Zealand Flora.

We are the beekeepers, the harvesters, the bottlers, the designers, do-ers, thinkers and everything in-between. We don't buy our honey, we nurture our bees while they create it. All our honey is bottled and labelled in New Zealand. It all started with Paul and Sheryl Steens' love for bees, natural resources and of course, raw honey.

Worthy discount

I have monitored the Steens website for this product which is the perfect ‘genuine’ Manuka daily go to. Ordinarily, the price in Steens website is not competitive enough however, a very reasonable discount (with postage) made this a good buy.

I’ve been using this MGO 85 Manuka honey in my baking and love the subtle, rich flavour it adds. The squeezy bottle is really handy—no sticky mess. It’s become a regular ingredient in my kitchen. Great quality and taste!
